OBSKUR MUSIC , started in 2017, is a Canadian underground techno label dedicated to uplifting and showcasing women,queer, and techno / electronic artists world-wide.
Through our OBSKUR Bookings division, we foster artistic talent and provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their skills.
OBSKUR Radio, our weekly show, features the latest cutting-edge sounds from the techno and electronic music scene.

We are officially opening pre-orders for the next chapter of the label, bringing Portland mainstay Carissa Illy to the catalog ahead of the official release on June 29.
The original cut of “I Look Good” is a gleaming, high-energy anthem tailored for the peak hours. It locks in a jacking groove laced with classic electro and acid undertones, carrying an infectious vocal sample that oozes pure, uncompromising confidence. It is a heavy, commanding track that does exactly what it needs to do on a proper system.
To round out the release, we brought together an international lineup of artists to take the release even further. We are incredibly proud to have Vancouver’s AWood, Berlin-based Gutter Princess, and UK legend Kim Cosmik on board for this one, each bringing their own distinct energy to the project.

Obskur Radio has operated since 2016 as a queer and femme-forward platform and label dedicated to showcasing diverse, boundary-pushing talent in electronic music on a global scale. This partnership allows us to step back into the world of live broadcasting and conversation.
Each season, we journey to a country our radio has yet to cover, seeking out the hidden scenes and inside cultural stories that shape its electronic music landscape. Through curated mixes and in-depth interviews, we aim to provide a true cultural exchange.
